This time of year begins the start of many local non-profits charity walks. The Autism and March of Dimes walks will be over the weekend.
Many of these non-profit do amazing work in trying to obtain their goals and missions. People from all around come to participate and walk for whatever cause they support.
I will be walking in the March of Dimes walk this weekend, Sunday at 1p.m. down at Waldameer onto Presque Isle. The walk is 6.2 miles long, but with the wonderful weather coming our way, it shouldn't be too harsh!
I hope you take the time to go out and support a cause you believe in. These walks help raise money and spread awareness in the local community. Do you part and hit the pavement sometime this year!

Tara Quinn,
Try this year's Germanfest in Erie,PA over LAbor Day at "somebody's " grove. Last year it was at the Shriners Bldg. This year it's being moved to the Grove.
A BLAST !
Found your blog while checking for things to do in Erie....I do like your idea, it is kind of funny though because I just started one in Sharon and Hermitage....check it out and maybe we can get some ideas from each other. By chance you might know of some things to do in Sharon or Hermitage and I might know some things to do in Erie.
