yep! Kickball Tournament

I have the pleasure of heading back to my childhood to play some KICKBALL! The Young Erie Professionals, YEP!, of Erie will be holding a Kickball tournament as a local fundraiser.

Your work can sponsor a team, or you can get a bunch of friends together to form a team. It's going to be a great day to play ball, eat, drink and be youthful again!

If you are interested in coming to watch or join a team, go to http://www.yepkickball.org/ to find out more information! To find out more on how to join the YEP! group, visit their website at http://www.youngerieprofessionals.org/

8 Great Tuesdays

Throughout July and August, Port Erie brings "8 Great Tuesdays" down at the Liberty Park - Pepsi Amphitheatre.

This is a great family friendly event to sit back, relax and enjoy some live music. You can get a list of the upcoming artists on Port Erie's website http://www.porterie.org/. This Tuesday the 11th will feature a Kiss tribute band!

There is additional parking available at the Blasco Library and Intermodel Center, where you can hop on a shuttle to take you over to the show.

So get your best Rocker clothes on and head down to the bay for some beautiful scenery, great music and good Erie company!

Golf

Erie actually has an abundance of golf courses available to play. Whether you are looking for a quick 9-holes or a scenic 18, Erie probably has what you need.
I've found a pretty good reference for golf courses is www.eriegolfcourses.com to find any course around the Erie county.
Good Luck and remember, just have fun!

Walks

This time of year begins the start of many local non-profits charity walks. The Autism and March of Dimes walks will be over the weekend.
Many of these non-profit do amazing work in trying to obtain their goals and missions. People from all around come to participate and walk for whatever cause they support.
I will be walking in the March of Dimes walk this weekend, Sunday at 1p.m. down at Waldameer onto Presque Isle. The walk is 6.2 miles long, but with the wonderful weather coming our way, it shouldn't be too harsh!
I hope you take the time to go out and support a cause you believe in. These walks help raise money and spread awareness in the local community. Do you part and hit the pavement sometime this year!
